This notice explains how H&H Driving School uses personal information when you visit this website, make an enquiry or arrange driving tuition.
Who is responsible for your information
The data controller is H&H Driving School Limited (company no. 07055436). The business can be contacted at handhdrivingschoolsch@gmail.com or 07930 812284.
Information collected and where it comes from
Information is normally provided directly by you. An enquiry may include your name, phone number, email address, pickup postcode or area, previous driving experience, preferred lesson type, availability, practical test date and anything you choose to add to your message. If you become a customer, H&H may also keep lesson, booking, payment and relevant correspondence records.
Why it is used and the lawful basis
Enquiry details are used to respond, check pickup availability, discuss suitable tuition, provide current pricing and arrange requested lessons. H&H relies on taking steps at your request before entering a contract and, where appropriate, performing a lesson agreement. Legitimate interests may also apply to managing enquiries, keeping proportionate business records, preventing misuse and handling complaints. Information may be retained where a legal obligation applies, including accounting, tax or regulatory requirements.
The required checkbox on the enquiry form records that you have read this notice; it is not consent to unrelated marketing. H&H will ask separately if consent is ever needed for a different purpose.
How the website form works
When you select “Send enquiry”, your answers are submitted to FormSubmit over HTTPS. After its spam check, FormSubmit forwards the enquiry to handhdrivingschoolsch@gmail.com. The website itself does not store your answers in a database. FormSubmit states that it retains submissions for 30 days. See its privacy policy and service documentation. You can also contact H&H by phone or email without using the form.
Who information may be shared with
Information may be shared only where needed with the instructor handling your enquiry or tuition, email and website service providers, professional advisers, insurers, regulators or public authorities where required by law. H&H does not sell enquiry details and does not use them for unrelated marketing.
International processing
Form enquiries are processed by FormSubmit and H&H’s Gmail service. The spam check uses Google reCAPTCHA and may process technical information such as your IP address and browser details. These providers may process data outside the UK. Google explains its privacy practices in its privacy policy.
How long information is kept
Enquiry-only correspondence is reviewed and normally deleted within 12 months of the last contact. If you book tuition, relevant customer and financial records may be retained for up to six years where needed for tax, contractual, insurance or legal purposes. Information is deleted or anonymised when it is no longer needed, unless a longer period is required for a complaint, claim or legal obligation.
Cookies and automated decisions
This website does not set analytics or advertising cookies or make automated decisions about tuition. When you submit the form, FormSubmit and its spam-check provider may use cookies and technical information for security and spam prevention. Their own privacy policies apply on those pages.
Your data protection rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access to your personal information, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may also withdraw consent where consent is the basis used. Rights are not absolute, but H&H will explain any lawful reason a request cannot be fully met. How to complain
Please contact H&H first so the concern can be addressed. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office through its data protection complaints service.
